Rein have the same apperance as Reinforce Eins abeit being younger and missing the wings found on Reinforce's back and head, even when her Knight Clothing is on.

Chronology
Mako Trio Incident
After learning of Lutecia's involevment in the dissapperance of the Mako Trio and her current position Rein joined with Hayate confronting Lutecia aiding Caro in fighting off the Gadget Drones
Material Unit Attack
After Nanaoha's and Fate's first fight with Levi Raisell and Seikou Stern Hayate tried to leave Rein behind when she went to aid them however she was unsucessful with Rein being able to get Hayate to reveal what she knew before joining.
Along with Hayate and Shamal Yagami Rein joined the team to investergate the TALON located in Hiroshima. upon discovering something odd about Hirayamahachiman Shrine the team went to investergate. Originally Rein was to remain hidden but when Amara revealed knowing they were after the TALON became hostile Rein tried to warn her of the pending danger from the Material Unit.
The following night Rein asked Hayate if her apperance upsetted Hayate being conscience that she was the splitting image of Reinforce Eins. After Hayate eliviated her concerns and revealing her own perspective on parental conception Hayate accepted Rein calling her "mommy"
After being pulled the team into Amara's Reality Frame and revealed herself to be Amaterasu no-Mikoto Rein was able to sense that the copies of Amaterasu were like that of the first Amaterasu they fought giving Hayate the idea of where she was hiding.
As of the end of Chapter 8 it belived that Hayate, Rein and Shamal are on their way back from Hiroshima for the planned rendezvous with the other teams.
